Key Responsibilities:

Sales Target Achievement:

Meet or exceed sales targets for DG sets in the assigned territory.

Develop and execute a sales strategy tailored to the Northeast market to maximize revenue.

Market Analysis and Business Development:

Conduct market research to identify potential customers and assess their needs.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in various sectors like construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and infrastructure.

Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.

Understand customer needs and provide appropriate solutions using DG sets.

Address customer inquiries, provide product information, and offer after-sales support.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the DG set product line and related services.

Educate customers on the technical specifications, benefits, and applications of DG sets.

Stay informed about competitors' products and pricing strategies.

Sales Reporting:

Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including sales activity, market feedback, and sales forecasts.

Monitor market trends and provide insights to the sales management team.

Collaboration:

Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and other team members to achieve overall sales goals.

Coordinate with the technical and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Participate in regional sales meetings, trade shows, and promotional events.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in any field, Pref - Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the power generation, heavy equipment, or industrial machinery sector.

Proven track record of achieving sales targets.

Skills:

Strong understanding of DG sets and their applications.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Familiarity with the Northeast region and willingness to travel extensively within the territory.

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in selling to government and large enterprise clients.

Knowledge of local languages in the Northeast region.

A strong network within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors in the region.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary with performance-based incentives (18-20K)

All Statutory benefits – PF, ESIC, Bonus, Leaves, Leave encashment & Gratuity.

Travel allowances and other benefits as per company policy.
